Have you ever wondered what happens after a clinical skin peel?

Day 1 after the peel

So this is the first day after the peel. It’s been okay. It feels a little bit like I want to rub it but I’m behaving myself and doesn’t look to bad I don’t think, nobody commented anyway and I’m in w

End of Day 2

So it’s the end of day 2 my skin has just felt a little bit like sunburny all day but not bothering me really and I’ve just washed my face with water, patted it dry vigorously rubbed the towelette on my face and we’ll see how I’m doing tomorrow but my skin doesn’t look bad at all has looked a bit red today but nobody has commented. I’ve been at work all day seeing clients and nobody asked me what’s wrong with my skin.

Day 3

This is me this morning, I don’t now if you can see but I’m starting to peel. I have washed my face this morning just with a very very mild cleanser, a wash off one and put some factor 50 sunscreen on but I’m peeling now as predicted. Skin feels a bit tight, but nothing to write home about

Day three update:

I’m still on day three, but I thought I’d check in and just show you the peeling I’ve got now which I’m just gonna get some little nail scissors to cut these flaking bits off, it’s not too bad but it’s progressed since this morning

End of day three:

Well it’s the end of day three. I’ve had a shower and washed my hair and I’ve been applying the moisturiser periodically. This is how my skin has been pretty much all day. I’m not picking it or rubbing it because I do know that can cause pigmentation but I cut some of the bits off when they’re flapping around and people have, my clients have noticed today but we just have a conversation about peels, so that’s me at the end of day three.

Day 4

This is my skin on day four it’s still peeling away. I woke up looking quite flaky and I can see there’s some darker areas and but its feeling a bit itchy but nothing unbearable and I can see the pigment there clearing with the peeling anyway nearly there

Evening of day four:

It’s the evening now I’m just about to get ready for bed day four still, but you can see how much my face is peeling and it’s pretty much been going like that all day long which is fine I’m quite, its quite satisfying think my skin underneath looks fresher and dewier so we’ll see how things go tomorrow I’m going to wash it now and put on a bit of moisturiser on for a treat

Day 5

End of day Five:

This is the end of day five, I woke up in the morning with the same peeling that I had the day before my skin bits of hair in my bits of skin rather in my hair and I thought I was in for another day of shedding but today I’d say its been more very very dry thirsty skin. I have been applying that the moisturiser in the in the carepack very frequently because I’ve been able to and you can see that the skin I think has more or less stopped peeling I’ll see how it is in the morning and it’s looking quite good, but I’ll I’ll see how it goes overnight

Day 6

The morning of day 6

So this is the morning of day six the peeling is supposed to be mostly completed. I can see that I’ve got some still some areas I can tell are going to peel today but I’m allowed to use my skincare normal skin care now so I’m gonna really treat my face today and get rid of all the dryness and see how I go but really I suspect any peeling that’s left is not gonna be noticeable. I’ll check in one more time after this

Day 7

This is day seven now I would say day five and six it wasn’t so much peeling but it was so thirsty I was applying moisturiser slathering it on frequently throughout the day my lips have been dry so you do need lipsalve but now the peelings all done I think as it says it would be on day seven and my skin is really smooth the pores have definitely improved the pigmentation has improved, it looks soft and radiant I think and definitely will recommend it.
