Microneedling
Microneedling stimulates the skin's natural collagen and elastin response through controlled micro-injury. At our Clifton, Bristol clinic we use the Derma FNS system — the clinically preferred method for both skin rejuvenation and driving regenerative treatments into the skin.
Combination Treatments
Microneedling with PRP, microneedling with exosomes (advanced regenerative technology), and microneedling with polynucleotides (bio-stimulation delivered directly into treatment channels) are all available at our Bristol clinic.
Frequently Asked Questions — Microneedling
-
How many sessions are needed?
For general skin rejuvenation, 3–4 sessions. For acne scarring, 6 or more may be recommended. We will advise at your consultation in Bristol.
-
Is microneedling suitable for all skin types?
Yes, including darker skin tones. Unlike some laser treatments, it does not carry a pigmentation risk for darker complexions.
-
What is the difference between the Derma FNS and a dermaroller?
A dermaroller creates angled punctures. The Derma FNS delivers needles vertically at a consistent depth — clinically superior for both skin rejuvenation and topical delivery.
-
Can microneedling be combined with laser treatments?
Yes, though we space these treatments appropriately. We will design a full treatment plan at your consultation in Bristol.
