AESTHETIC MEDICAL CLINIC
PRP Platelet-Rich Plasma Skin Therapy
PRP therapy uses growth factors from your own blood to trigger skin regeneration and repair — with no risk of allergic reaction. All PRP treatments at our Clifton, Bristol clinic are administered by our nurse prescribers.
Platelet-rich plasma therapy, sometimes referred to as the vampire facial, uses your own blood to rejuvenate your skin. A small blood sample is taken and processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma. The concentrated PRP is then either injected into problem areas or applied during a microneedling treatment, driving it into the skin’s surface layers.
Platelets contain a high concentration of growth factors, proteins that trigger the skin to regenerate and repair. All PRP treatments at our Clifton, Bristol clinic are administered by our nurse prescribers.
PRP Combined with Microneedling
Microneedling creates precise channels in the skin’s surface. When PRP is applied immediately after needling, it is driven directly into those channels, placing the growth factors exactly where they are needed. The combination produces a more significant result than either treatment alone. Course of 3 from £650.
